At approximately 1:15 pm this evening, Brandy M. Dominguez was arrested at her home on CR 2283 in Liberty County on a warrant charging her with “Abandonment/Endangering a Child by Criminal Negligence”. This was a result of the discovery by Federal Probation Officers on Saturday, October 12th. of her two (2) year old twin girls found in an unsanitary locked room without clothing, food or water. At that time, Amy Castillo, Aunt of the children, was arrested on the same charge however, Ms. Dominguez was not at the residence when the Liberty County Sheriff’s Department was first notified by the Federal Officers. Since the initial call, investigation has continued up to today when sufficient cause for an arrest warrant was filed against Brandy Dominguez, mother of the two young girls.
Capt. Mark Ellington, who led the arrest of Dominguez, said she offered no resistance to the arrest. She has been brought to the Liberty County jail where she has been booked on this State Jail Felony offense.
