DRUG ARREST IN LIBERTY COUNTY INVOLVING THREE AGENCIES

A joint drug operation between the Liberty County Sheriff Department’s Narcotics Division, Houston Police Department’s Narcotics Division and Montgomery County Constables Office Pct. 4 drug agents resulted in the felony arrest of two people and the seizure of $23,000. in drug funds.

After an ongoing investigation into drug activity at the residence located at 205 PR 6028 in the City of Dayton area, a search warrant was issued by District Judge Chap Cain for that location. At approximately 11:am this morning, the three law enforcement agencies, working closely together, raided the residence and secured the arrest of Henry Gates age 41 and Kandy Kelley age 39 who were residents at that location.

Henry Gates was charged with “Manufacturing & Distribution of a Controlled Substance”  a first degree felony. He was also on parole for possession of a controlled substance.

Kandy Kelley was charged with “Possession of a Controlled Substance”, a State jail felony.

Both were placed in the Liberty County Jail and at this early stage a bond has not been set.
