Mar 25, 2013

Some very good investigative techniques paid off for Sgt. Investigator Kenny Dagle and assisted by Special Ranger Jimmy Belt when Sgt. Dagle began the investigation of an armed robbery of the Raywood grocery store located at FM 1609 and FM 770 on February 24, 2013. An unknown amount of cash money was taken along with the employees white Dodge van which was recovered the following day,  abandoned, on CR

117.  During the following days and weeks, information was developed that centered on three individuals and possibly others that may have been involved in this robbery.

After gathering evidence that placed these three persons at the scene of the robbery, Sgt. Dagle contacted  each of them and each surrendered to the Sergeant at the Sheriff’s office.
