MULTI DRUGS FOUND IN ARREST IN LIBERTY COUNTY

On Thursday, April 24th and working on information gained from an on- going investigation, Deputies from the Sheriff Department’s Criminal Interdiction Unit and SWAT Unit executed a search warrant issued out of District Judge Mark Morefield’s court at a residence located at 198 CR 330. There, Deputies arrested Decoris Lamont Rucker, DOB 11-7-81 on several drug charges as well as illegal possession of firearms. At the time of the arrest, Rucker was in the process of manufacturing drugs.
Rucker was charged with two counts of Manufacturing and Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Penalty Group One, One count of Manufacturing and Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Penalty Group 2 and One count of Manufacturing and Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Penalty Group 3. In addition, Rucker was charged with a Convicted Felon in Possession of Firearms. The different Penalty Group is which Rucker was charged was dependent on what drugs fell into a specific category.
The Deputies recovered at Decoris Rucker’s residence 29.3 grams of Ecstasy, 26.3 grams of cocaine, 1.3 grams of cocaine, 26.5 grams of hydrocodone, 30 grams of Xanax and 2 oz. of Marijuana along with drug manufacturing equipment. In addition over $2,000 was found on Rucker’s person.
The investigating Deputies placed Decoris Lamont Rucker in the Liberty County jail where he is still in custody with bonds totaling $370 K.
