This class will be mandatory for any Liberty County Sheriff's Office employee that wishes to carry a pistol mounted optic and a policy will soon come out with this requirement.
Required equipment:
•Duty pistol
•Pistol Mounted Optic
•500 rounds of ammunition (provided for LCSO employees)
•Duty holster or equivalent
•Magazine X3; magazine holders
•Eye protection
•Hearing protection
•Body armor
If you have any questions on optics selection, holster selection, and/or optics mounting please feel free to get with Steve Rasberry, or Ryan Cavanaugh. Please sign up for the course with Cpl, Thomas Coldwell by email @ Thomas.Coldwell @co.liberty.tx.us.
**We will allow outside agencies to attend the class, provided we have room and they or their agency provides their ammunition.**
