CRIMINAL INVESTIGATIONS

The Criminal Investigations Division (CID) is tasked with the mission of providing investigative support to the population of Liberty County.

The investigators assigned to this division are responsible for follow-up investigations initiated by patrol as well as solving crimes ranging from burglary, theft, assaults, arson to homicide. Currently this division handles thousands of criminal investigations a year. Thanks to the help and support of the public, many of these crimes are solved and lead to an arrest.
